This is another one of those, “How didn’t I know that?” kind of things.
So I’m figuring there is at least one other person out there that doesn’t know this 🙂
We used to have two different cars and the gas cap for each one was on a different side of the car.
Now I know putting gasoline into your fuel tank isn’t exactly rocket science. Just about every time I pulled into the gas station though, I’d think to myself, “OK, which side is the gas cap on this car?” I pulled up to the pump, opened the car door, and I almost always picked the wrong side. Never failed 🙂
Then a friend of mine told me something that makes it a whole heck of a lot easier.
All cars in the USA have a little fuel indicator somewhere on your dashboard. If you look closely, you can see there is also a little arrow. The little arrow is pointing to the side of your car that has the gas cap.
Here is mine:
So that means my gas cap is on the driver’s side of the car.
Easy, right?
Hey, I’m all for making life a little bit easier 🙂
